Heya guys -- It looks like e-mails to several of our customers are bouncing as being blocked by Symantec Email Security.Cloud. These are normally e-mails to current customers, and include our billing e-mails and evey replies to e-mails we received from the people at those domains. All of our emails come from the cloudiq.com and cloud-iq.com domains.
Some examples of domains to which e-mails are bouncing are:
ee.co.uk
luxottica.com.au
bevilles.com.au
three.co.uk
The error message we get in the bounces is:
553 Message filtered. Refer to the Troubleshooting page at http://www.symanteccloud.com/troubleshooting for more information. (#5.7.1)
I've followed the instructions at the above troubleshooting page, and submitted examples to investigation@review.symantec.com, but have yet to hear anything back even after a week. It's like I'm dropping the messages into a black hole with no response.
In desperation, I even tried e-mailing "help@symantec.com" but that ALSO bounced back, with the exact same "553 Message filtered." error.
To me it looks like our domains have been blacklisted for all Symantec email security.cloud customers somehow? I'm not sure what's going on, but we'd like to get this resolved ASAP.
Hopefully you'll be able to help us. Please let me know if you need any additional information or have any questions!
Thanks,
- Luke
